This blog is an interactive place where you can share your writing with your classmates. The blog creates a great place for writing because it can easily be seen by other students in our class, and you can respond to your classmates' work, taking their ideas further. The blog format is meant to be less formal and more creative than the academic essays you write in class. This is where you can explore your voice as a writer, and take some risks with your style and ideas. Happy blogging!

Process Reflection: Activity Assessment
I decided to write about our debate that we did recently did in class regarding The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. We were required to form an argument of whether Jeannette's parents should be guilty of neglect to the children if they were just perceived as harmless. At the same time, we had to integrate quotes into our debate and I found this very effective because integrating quotes gave our team additional support to strengthen our argument.

I agree with this because I think without quotes from the books, our argument for both sides would be weak, and there wouldn't be much to defend about.
