Activity Assessment

A strategy or activity that I have found to be effective in not only class readings but other readings as well, is chewing over what I just read. Truly thinking about the text is a really good way of getting a full understanding of the main point and arguments that the writer is trying to express.

  1. I find this effective as well! I try to relate the reading to myself or current life events and I find that it makes it useful when I think about what I read over and over again. I even find myself thinking about the reading at odd times when I shouldn't be but it tends to come to me more naturally now.
